Why Should I Get a Mouthguard?

According to the CDCP, as many as 38 million sports and recreation-related concussions occur in the U.S. each year. With the growing awareness of the long-term effects of concussions, the benefits of a properly fitted lower mouthguard/ sports guard cannot be ignored. Lower Mouthguards can hold an athlete’s jaw in a stable height and position with their upper teeth, greatly reducing the lower jaw shock to the brain.

While mouthguards/sport guards cannot prevent all types of sports injuries, there are many reasons why athletes at every level should have a properly fitted mouthguards/sport guards from EPD.
